Our utilities should be in public ownership. They can be run well on a not-for-profit basis. We are being exploited by ideologically driven policies.
It’s time to return to sanity. No utility should be for private profit.
All essential services should be nationalised. That’s rail, water, energy, post office, and schools under local authority control.
The only way to stop the profiteering rip-off that is perpetrated by the private utility companies is to bring back all of them under the public wing.
Not a moment before time. I have just moved gas supply to join electricity at Good Energy, 100% renewable provider. Not another penny to British Gas for me.
