Heating and hot water should not be for commercial gain.

The attempt to create an artificial market in energy supply has demonstrably failed. It is broke so let’s fix it.

Energy is too important to be a wealth provider for shareholders of private companies.

These energy companies are like a mafia, using the consumer as a cash cow. The Government doesn’t want to do anything to stop it because half the MPs are shareholders.

There are those that can and those that cannot heat their homes. I’m for supporting and speaking up for those that can’t.

It’s about time these companies were punished. They’re absolutely disgusting, the lot of them.

With this bunch of bully-boys in power, the campaign for re-nationalisation based on cold hard numbers, highlighting how we’ve lost out is needed more than ever.

Privatisation drives up prices and drives down quality.

Profits from utility, bus and rail companies should be ploughed back into infrastructure, not shareholders” pockets.

Start with the railways, then re-nationalise gas, water and electricity. Hands off the Royal Mail too!

Profit is not a dirty word – all businesses need it to survive, but what we have with the energy companies is pure unvarnished greed.

Give us decently priced fuels.

Bring back British Rail and the water, gas and electricity.

We need to get back to a point where basics such as heat and light are affordable to all. People before profit.

I despair when we have sold off our national assets, from rail to energy to water to money.

It is immoral for individual and corporate fat cats to profit so obscenely from peoples’ need simply to stay warm. All energy companies should be renationalised now.

We need cheaper fuel.

Everything has been said. I, like many others, am tired of corporate business profits being placed before the genuine need of the British people.

Light and heat are basic human needs and profits should not be made from their provision.

Privatisation of Britain’s public services has been a disaster for consumers, the environment and the economy.

Re-nationalise all the stuff that once belonged to us now.
