Energy is a public resource. Surely it makes sense that its production and distribution is managed for the public good, not massive profit for a tiny minority of people.

Ian Cattell, WolverhamptonHow about paying for energy usage with, say, 3% income tax? The rich would pay more than the poor. Incentivise low usage by dropping the percentage.
