Re-nationalise without delay. Privatisation has failed miserably.

Rip-off utilities companies need sorting out. People before profit.

Energy should not be in the hands of foreign companies. We the people should own it. France and Germany would never privatise strategic industries.

It’s time to turn back the tide. Private is not always best. Let’s have more pride in civic institutions.

Why has it taken so long to get started? The Tories are always fast enough pushing their privatisation schemes through parliament without asking for anyone’s opinions.

The power companies’ directors and shareholders are just vultures feasting on the misery of people with no choice.

All infrastructure should be in public control – power and water, transport and telecommunications.

We need clean, green, renewable, non-nuclear energy, non biomass energy produced as much as possible close to the user with many more home producers.

The aim to privatise our natural emerging monopolies would only end in disaster. There is no competition on energy provision and it’s a huge waste of resources.
