The cost of energy is going to be of increasing significance. People must make themselves heard.

I prefer the country’s energy supply in the hands of politicians and not capitalists, but the margin is very slight.

Bring back British Rail and the water, gas and electricity.

Energy is an essential part of life. We shouldn’t be held to ransom by those who are only out for profit. Nationalise and reinvest the profits and/or reduce bills.

I totally agree with this petition. For years it has been increasingly difficult to heat and light my home and it isn’t getting any easier.

Utilities are too important to the public to be run at their expense for private profit.

Gas and electricity is a ‘must commodity’ for everyone and should be re-nationalised asap, provided they are managed by competent experts in the respective fields.

This is something that should be looked at, but it won’t be easy, as money and shareholders and government are involved.

Governments have failed to correct this. We must.
