Nationalisation is for the benefit of the vast majority of the British people.

We, the people, should benefit from the basic right of fuel supply at a cheap price, not line the pockets of the already rich while others freeze to death.

Privatisation instead of state monopoly was meant to lead to competition and lower prices for consumers. This hasn’t happened and rich bosses make even more profit.

All public services and necessities of life should belong to the people not profit-hungry corporations intent on putting profit before people.

Light and heat are basic human needs and profits should not be made from their provision.

These energy companies are like a mafia, using the consumer as a cash cow. The Government doesn’t want to do anything to stop it because half the MPs are shareholders.
