Energy and energy policy should be owned and controlled by the people, not the energy companies. We need a renewable revolution, a fossil-free energy system now.

Stop extortionate bills. Also stop extortionate estimates that neither reflect the consumption of energy or make clear that they are only estimates.

obviously privatisation has been a disaster. All the evidence is there. Thatcher was wrong. We need a proper left wing spokesman to highlight this.

Energy supply and distribution requires long term and nationwide co-ordination. Privatisation gives no reason to look to the future when a quick buck can be made now.

Let’s get back to pre-Thatcher era when we the people owned and reaped the benefits of public ownership. It’s only right.

Energy companies are too greedy. Our sick, elderly and working-class can’t afford to heat their homes. Re-nationalise as soon as possible and keep us out of debt.

Privatisation has proved not to be in the interests of the nation. Competition has not resulted in companies vying to please customers, but in a self-interested cartel.
