I am not against privatisation but am sick of people making so much profit from the public.

And promote microgeneration and community owned renewables.

Our privatised utilities are a joke. The very nature of this fragmented system has the effect of pushing up costs and the evidence of anti-competitive pricing is obvious.

I am fed up with being ripped off by these companies.

Even the Victorians had the sense to understand that utilities so vital should not be private.

About bloody time.

Why don’t they learn?

Stop the rip-off.

Full nationalisation of all the utilities is the only way to end the rip-off.

The millions in profits should be used to keep prices down, not line the pockets of directors and shareholders.

Time to get rid of the energy racketeers.

Get it back in our hands, with proper, democratically-consulted safeguards against bad management this time.

Let’s get rid of the shareholders.

As Midnight said: The time has come. A fact’s a fact – It belongs to them. Let’s give it back.

Regulator as much good as a chocolate teapot.

More power to your elbow. Something needs to be done to stop this profiteering on something that people rely on.

It should never have been privatised in the first place.

Re-nationalise.

That’s it. We’ve had enough. You can push the people so far. Now we are taking our power back.

All the fuel companies are rogues.

Re-nationalise and rationalise the energy sector. As long as companies can make a profit exploiting natural resources they will continue to do so.

We are the majority, ordinary working people reduced to living hand to mouth. This is the reality.

Give us back our freedom that our parents fought for and stop ripping us off.

Well done to our various governments of the last 30 years for screwing us all over and leaving themselves looked after. For shame, give us all a chance to live.

Privatisation has conclusively failed. It’s time to rethink.
